Job summary

GEODIS in Phoenix is seeking a warehouse team member to receive, store, move and distribute materials. You will read schedules and orders to determine items to handle, and you will transfer goods between receiving, storage, and shipping areas.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months related experience, ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and comfort working in non-climate-controlled environments.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalency.
• Minimum 1 to 3 months of related experience.
• Ability to perform operations using US currency, weight, volume, and distance units.
• Ability to follow simple one- or two-step instructions.
• Ability to lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Receiving, storing, moving, and distributing materials.
• Reading production schedules, orders, and requisitions to determine items to be moved or assembled.
• Conveys materials from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Sorts items and places them on racks, shelves, or bins according to predetermined criteria.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places on pallets or conveys to packing or shipping.
