Job summary

ITT Inc. in El Cajon, California, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support efficient warehouse and manufacturing operations by ensuring the accurate and timely movement, handling, and storage of materials. The role loads and unloads, receives deliveries, maintains inventory records, and prepares products for shipment.

It also measures and cuts cable and uses ERP systems and scanning. The position rotates through stockroom, receiving, packaging, and shipping to meet operational priorities.

Qualifications

• Read hand written and computerized documents including Material Safety Data Sheets.
• Basic computer skills, such as Excel, Word, Outlook.
• SAP (or other ERP system) experience required.
• Knowledge of safe handling and lifting procedures.

Responsibilities

• Uses hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, or other equipment to move material within the storage facility.
• Drives a standard van to assist with local deliveries.
• Measures and cuts cable required in manufacturing process.
• Assists with shipments and other responsibilities as assigned.
• Follows procedures in compliance with AS9100 requirements.
• Collaborates with other departments to control material going to and coming from suppliers.
• Engages with suppliers and drivers to coordinate deliveries and ensure accuracy.
• Performs ERP transactions to allocate material to production orders.
• Manages stockroom, receiving, packaging, and shipping transactions.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
