Job summary

Tech24 is seeking a Warehouse Specialist in Roanoke, VA to maintain inventory accuracy and support shipping/receiving operations. The role ensures technicians have parts and equipment, requiring strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced warehouse.

Key duties include pulling and packing orders, inspecting incoming inventory, and maintaining records. Candidates should have 3+ years in a similar role and forklift experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 3+ years of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or inventory experience.
• Proficient in using a computer, including data entry, typing and computer-based systems/applications.
• Valid driver's license and ability to deliver parts and supplies to technicians in the field as needed.
• Forklift experience and certification are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate pallet jacks and warehouse equipment safely.

Position Summary:

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy, supporting shipping and receiving operations, and ensuring field technicians have the parts and equipment needed to serve customers. Physical Demands:

• Ability to regularly lift, carry, push, and pull parts, equipment, and materials weighing 50-75 pounds safely and efficiently
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform physical warehouse duties throughout the workday.
• Experience operating pallet jacks in a warehouse environment required;
• Forklift experience and certification preferred.
• Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and applicable OSHA regulations.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced warehouse environment while handling inventory, equipment, and materials

Compensation Transparency:

The advertised pay range for this position is$20-$25 per hour. Final compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and market conditions.
