Job summary

MB Solutions inc in Portsmouth, VA is seeking a warehouse associate to verify incoming materials against receiving documents, route items to storage locations, and maintain accurate inventory. You will identify discrepancies and damage, palletize goods, and support replenishment activities across picking zones.

• Verifying materials against receiving documents.
• Noting and reporting discrepancies and obvious damage.
• Routing materials to prescribed storage locations.
• Storing, stacking, or palletizing materials in accordance with prescribed storage methods.
• Rearranging and taking inventory of stored materials.
• Replenish pick areas identified by replenishment screens or reporting various requests for needed merchandise.
• Examining stored materials and reporting deterioration and damage.
• Preparing orders by processing requests and supply orders; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Maintaining quality service by following organizational standards.
• Completing reports by entering required information into the inventory management system.
• Operating a variety of warehouse equipment and vehicles; utilizing a variety of hand tools as required.
• Lifting up to 50lbs.
• Operating a computer to process reports and forms, and maintaining inventory of warehouse materials as required.
