Qualifications

  • Experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect products and keep accurate records of damaged, defective, expired, missing, or shorted inventory.
  • Review inventory to determine availability of requested products and equipment.
  • Verify and compile incoming and outgoing kits per specifications and use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area per safety rules.
  • Coordinate with distribution, sales, shipping, and warehouse staff to expedite deliveries.
  • Investigate customer complaints and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Collaborate to identify alternative product solutions like loaner banks or other locations.
  • Deliver equipment to customer sites and arrange shipments for transport.
  • Support general warehouse operations and assist with additional tasks as needed.

Job description

Position Summary

The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for supporting efficient warehouse and distribution operations by maintaining accurate inventory records, inspecting products and equipment, coordinating shipments and deliveries, and resolving inventory or customer service discrepancies. This role requires strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What You Will Do
  • Inspect products and maintain accurate records of damaged, defective, expired, missing, or shorted inventory using applicable computer systems.
  • Review inventory records to determine the availability of requested products and equipment.
  • Compile, inspect, and verify incoming and outgoing kits to ensure compliance with specifications and intended use.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, including supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas, in accordance with applicable safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with distribution, sales, shipping, warehouse personnel, and common carriers to expedite or trace deliveries and shipments.
  • Investigate customer complaints, monitor service levels, and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with internal resources to identify alternative product solutions, including loaner banks, other warehouse locations, and consignment inventory.
  • Deliver equipment to customer locations and properly arrange merchandise for transportation, including delivery and return shipments.
  • Support general warehouse operations and assist with additional duties as needed to ensure efficient distribution and customer service.
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED/equivalent.
  • At least two (2) years of professional work experience.
  • Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to work onsite during the scheduled shift and participate in required overtime and on-call rotations.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate degree or additional post-secondary education.
  • Previous warehouse, distribution, inventory control, or logistics experience in a demanding and fast-paced environment.
  • Experience using computerized inventory management or warehouse management systems.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
