Job summary

Prime Controls in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Warehouse Coordinator to oversee movement and storage of goods, manage inventory, and coordinate product flow through the warehouse. You will schedule movements, prepare orders for delivery, and ensure documentation accompanies shipments.

The role requires forklift certification, strong organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Qualifications

  • Ability to operate forklift, order picker, pallet jack and other warehouse equipment; operate as needed.
  • Ability to lift or move heavy products.
  • Direct the warehouse team in standard warehouse operations.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to keep accurate records.
  • Ability to work under deadlines and meet competing demands.

  • Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup.
  • Ensure all stock is pulled and loaded into the delivery vehicle with accompanying and necessary documents, in conjunction with delivery schedules.
  • Assist personnel with material transfers throughout warehouse to offsite locations.
  • Establish warehouse practices and protocols to achieve an efficient warehouse.
  • Communicate with other departments to ensure products are shipped in a timely manner.
  • Train new employees on the proper use and maintenance of equipment and facilities utilized in the performance of their job.
  • Receive merchandise as per packing lists in our Purchasing/Accounting module. Scan and file copies of packing lists onto server.
  • Interface with other departments to ensure Inbound and outbound deadlines are met.
  • Ensure warehouse equipment is in good working condition.
  • Adhere to all safety procedures in the performance of job duties.
  • Document all related activities and completes forms and reports.
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
  • Performs other related duties as directed.

Overview

Position Summary

As a Warehouse Coordinator, you will cover a multitude of disciplines such as overseeing the movement and storage of goods throughout the warehouse, managing warehouse inventory, and maintaining a database.
