Job summary

Permobil has a Warehouse Specialist opening on the 1st shift in Tennessee. The role is full-time, Monday–Thursday, 6:00am–4:30pm with overtime potential. Pay is $18.00–$20.00 per hour, depending on experience, plus benefits.

You will stage, move, and prep material using powered equipment to support efficient warehouse operation. Permobil is a leader in mobility solutions, committed to independence and dignity.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient with forklifts and reach trucks.
• Experience with powered industrial equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely stage, move, and prep material using powered industrial equipment.
• Move material safely to and from storage and throughout the warehouse.
• Present products to locations by prepping boxes or bins.
• Count and validate units moved daily.
• Assist in inventory reconciliation.
• Maintain equipment and report service requests.
• Provide backup coverage in various areas.
• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and continuous improvement.

Your Role in Our Mission

• Responsible for safely staging, moving, andprepping material to designated areas, while using powered industrialequipment.


• Efficiently moves material in a safe manner to and from storage areas and throughout warehouse.


• Ensures product is presented to locations by the prepping of boxes and/or bins.


• Counts and validates number of units of material moved or handled daily.


• Assist in the process of inventory reconciliation.


• Maintains equipment by keeping it clean and safe, reporting service requests as needed.


• Serve as a backup as needed in various areas.


• Highlight cross-functional collaboration and ownership.


• Emphasize continuous improvement and efficiency.

What You'll Bring

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.


• Proficient using 3 pieces of industrial equipment.(Forklift, Order Picker, Reach Truck, Turret Truck).


• Be certified as an industrial equipment trainer and be able to train others on equipment.


• Minimum 6 months of general warehouse experience preferred.


• Minimum 6 months of powered industrial equipment preferred.


• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.


• Strong problem-solving mindset.

Pay Transparency

The expected pay range for this role is $18.00 - $20.00 per hour . Final compensation will depend on factors such as experience, skills, and internal equity.
