Job summary

Express Employment Professionals - Cincinnati East is seeking a Warehouse Associate to receive, store, and distribute product orders. You will read schedules and orders to determine items to move and gather, ensuring accurate handling.

You will unload and label materials, record quantities, assemble customer orders on pallets, prepare parcels for mailing, maintain inventory records, and scan documentation into SharePoint. Driving to collect items may be required.

Responsibilities

• Reads the production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine which items to move, gather, or distribute.
• Conveys materials and items from receiving to storage or to other designated areas.
• Unpack and verify incoming purchase orders for accuracy.
• Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequences such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
• Fills requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials.
• Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Marks materials with identifying information.
• Opens bales, crates, and other containers.
• Records the number of materials or items received or distributed.
• Matches MTR’s (documentation) to valves received and submits the documentation to be scanned into SharePoint.
• Uses a computer to enter records.
• Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
• Drives the vehicle to transport stored items from the warehouse or to pick up items from several locations for shipment.
• Provides signed packing tickets upon return from deliveries to the Documentation Specialist.
• Advise parts personnel of any shortages or discrepancies in materials received.
• Prepares parcels for mailing.
• Maintains inventory records.
• Maintain the warehouse in a neat and orderly fashion.
• Other duties may be assigned.
