Job summary

Central States Industrial (CSI) is seeking a Warehouse Specialist to support daily operations at our Grand Prairie, TX facility. You will receive, document, and store materials, pick, pack, and ship orders, handle freight, and maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate will have a High School Diploma, be able to obtain forklift certification, hold a valid chauffeur’s license, and have 2 years of warehouse experience with attention to detail and

• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Must have or be able to obtain a chauffeur’s license to drive delivery truck.
• 2 years of warehouse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, document, and put away materials, verifying part numbers and quantities.
• Pick, pack, and ship inventory and transfers.
• Process UPS/FedEx manifests, international shipments, truck shipments, deliveries, and freight pickups.
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts and discrepancy investigations.
• Unload, stage, receive tubing orders and coordinate freight for on-time delivery.
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Follow policies, safety expectations, and assist with other duties as assigned.

What You’ll Do

• Receive, document, and put away materials, including lot-tracked material, while verifying part numbers, quantities, and system receipts
• Pick, pack, and ship inventory, warehouse transfers, and Site Services materials accurately and securely
• Process UPS/FedEx manifests, international shipments, truck shipments, deliveries, and freight pickups
• Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, staging-area reviews, discrepancy investigations, location changes, indexing, and inventory-weight updates
• Unload, stage, receive, package, secure, and deliver tubing orders while coordinating freight for on-time delivery
• Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness, including shelves, pallets, cardboard recycling, trash, break-room cleaning, and supply requisitions
• Follow company policies, procedures, safety expectations, and applicable laws while supporting other duties as assigned

Education & Training

• High School Diploma or equivalent, required
• Ability to obtain forklift certification, required
• Must have or be able to obtain a chauffeur’s license to drive delivery truck

Experience

• Computer knowledge, required
• Epicor E10 software, preferred
• 2 years of warehouse experience, preferred

Work Environment / Physical Requirements

This is an on-site, hands-on role in a manufacturing environment.

• Frequent bending, kneeling, and stooping throughout the shift
• Lifting and moving materials up to 75 lbs (with assistance)
• Use of close, distance, and peripheral vision with strong attention to detail
• Exposure to typical grinding and polishing conditions (noise, dust, etc.)
• Required use of PPE including gloves, safety glasses, and steel-toe boots
