Qualifications

• Ability to successfully complete basic and re-currency training.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs with equipment or assistance.
• Good human relations and communication skills.
• Ability to coach and train employees during sort operations.
• Ability to prioritize assignments and make quick decisions with available information.
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and delegate responsibilities in a time-sensitive, noisy environment.
• Good understanding of FedEx systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Lead employees in complex sort, warehouse, ramp and/or yard functions to ensure proper handling of packages and freight.
• Maintain accuracy and completeness of necessary paperwork and ensure proper methods are followed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
