Job summary

Federal Express Corporation is seeking a lead for the sort/warehouse operations in Middletown Township, PA. The role oversees team members across sort, warehouse, ramp and/y yard activities to ensure accurate paperwork and safe, efficient handling of packages.

The position requires 6 months of FedEx handler experience, a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Strong communication and the ability to coach staff in a noisy environment are essential.

Minimum Education

High School Diploma/G.E.D.

Minimum Experience

Six (6) months FedEx handler experience which preferably includes 3 months work experience In work area which has the open position.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

Ability to successfully complete basic and re-currency training. Ability to lift 50 lbs. Ability to maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs. With appropriate equipment and/or assistance from another person. Good human relations and communication skills. Ability to coach and train employees during sort operations. Ability to prioritize assignments and make quick decisions with available information. Ability to effectively communicate verbally and delegate responsibilities in a time sensitive manner in noisy operations environment. Good understanding of FedEx systems and operations.

Job Conditions

Non-Covered Safety Sensitive Position; Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
