Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation, a leading global manufacturer of lift trucks, is seeking an experienced Warehouse Solutions Sales Specialist in Salt Lake City. You will drive sales of warehouse products, lead large projects, and support customers from initial contact to order and installation.

Responsibilities include forecasting, developing sales strategies, and coordinating with vendors. A background in business, 2-4 years in sales, and CAD drawing skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years related sales experience.
• Associate degree or equivalent in business or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate lift trucks.
• CAD drawing capabilities preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maximize sale of warehouse products such as rack, mezzanines, and ancillary equipment.
• Lead large warehouse solutions projects and support sales visits, sourcing, quotations, and orders.
• Generate new business via leads, prospecting, and networking.
• Prepare warehouse solutions forecasts and assist in developing sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Identify, recommend, and conduct appropriate warehouse solutions training to develop the sales staff.
• Close sales to meet quotas and manage the installation project.

Job Duties

• Maximize the sale of warehouse products such as rack, mezzanines, and ancillary equipment.
• Assume responsibility for large warehouse solutions projects initiated by sales staff. Support sales staff on customer visits, equipment sourcing, quotations, and order processing.
• Generate new business through internally provided leads, prospecting, and networking.
• Prepare warehouse solutions sales forecasts, and assist in development of warehouse solutions sales strategies, proposals, and presentations.
• Identify, recommend, and conduct appropriate warehouse solutions training to develop the sales staff.
• Communicate with associated product vendors.
• Assist in defining specifications for customer applications. Draw full size scalable CAD drawings as required. Review drawings, quotations, quantities, and capacity calculations to ensure specifications are met.
• Close sales to meet quotas for warehouse products.
• Responsible for project management of the installation.

Minimum Qualifications

• 2-4 years related experience
• Associate degree, preferably in business management, marketing, entrepreneurship, professional selling, or related business program, or equivalent experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and the ability to safely operate lift trucks

Preferred Qualifications

• A four-year college degree is desirable for this position Warehouse product knowledge and previous sales experience strongly preferred
• Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills
• Strong problem-solving capabilities, strong sense of responsibility and self-motivation, and ability to work in a team environment
• Several years of successful sales experience.
