Job summary

Core-Mark International in Illinois is hiring a Slot Coordinator to manage SKU inventory, designate correct locations, and optimize warehouse slotting. You will work across purchasing, warehouse, transportation, and inventory teams to ensure accurate inventories and ergonomically slotted goods.

The role requires 6+ months of warehouse inventory experience, proficiency with SAP/AS 400 or ability to learn, and strong Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• 6+ months inventory/cycle counter experience in a warehouse environment.
• Ability to count inventory and perform basic math.
• Physical ability to regularly lift up to 65 lbs.
• Prior experience with SAP and/or AS 400 or the ability to learn to use these programs.
• Computer proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Inspects all pick slots for inventory accuracy and maintains pick slot integrity.
• Initiates and manages the set-up of slotting new items and analyzes slot requirements.
• Reports inventory adjustments and related information to appropriate departments.
• Analyzes reports and data to resolve slotting issues and optimize slot contents.
• Maintains data updates to support informed decision making across departments.
• Performs general housekeeping duties and completes paperwork at end of shift.
