Job summary

Milwaukee Tool in Olive Branch, MS is seeking an Inventory Manager – Slotting to drive optimal inventory positioning across distribution centers. You will oversee slotting operations, maintain WMS data, and lead process improvements from storage to forward picks.

You will develop and enforce new slotting procedures, analyze strategies for efficiency gains, and communicate risk and operational impacts to leadership. The role requires data-driven decision making and collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant College Degree or similar equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of WMS systems (preferably High Jump) & Configuration capabilities.
• Experience with Microsoft Excel and SQL.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Detail-oriented, analytical with strong organizational, problem-solving, and follow-up skills.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the Slotting team to ensure all slotting functions are performed accurately and in a timely manner.
• Develop, implement, and enforce new slotting procedures & maintenance plans with training materials.
• Analyze slotting strategies & identify gaps to efficiencies and customer experience; communicate risks and impacts to the business.
• Pull basic slotting & material data using SQL for reporting and ad hoc requests; support data processing in Excel.
• Work cross-functionally with operations and other support teams to resolve material data issues.
• Build and monitor slot performance metrics with the reporting team and leadership.
• Drive team development and cross-training in all departmental areas.
