Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Shuttle Truck Driver in Hampton, IA for 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:00 PM). Pay is $24.50 per hour.

The role involves coordinating inbound/outbound deliveries, packing and loading using a forklift, organizing storage areas, and assisting with cycle counts. You will transport materials to and from the manufacturing plant and nearby warehouse; forklift certification is required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Complies with safety processes and safety practices.
• Processes work orders by selecting products from racks, palletizing, shrink-wrapping, and staging for delivery.
• Transports materials to and from the manufacturing plant and warehouse.
• Operates forklift to load/pack and move items as needed.
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work area.
• Able to multi-task in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Job description

SHIFT: 1st Shift, 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

PAY: $24.50 per hour.

As a Warehouse Shuttle Truck Driver, you will be a valued team member who will perform tasks essential to our warehouse operations: coordinate inbound/outbound deliveries, pack and load product using a forklift, organize storage areas, assist with cycle counts, and maintain a safe, clean work area. You will also transport materials to and from manufacturing plant and nearby warehouse. You will be working in the warehouse the majority of the time.

This role is part of our Omnium business who is a loyal partner in the manufacturing of crop protection, adjuvant, and plant nutrition products.

Key Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and insists on safety practices of self and others
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly
• Processes work orders by selecting correct products from racks, palletizing them, shrink-wrapping, and staging the product order for delivery
• Able to multi-task and keep up with warehousing demands in a fast-paced environment
• Ensures all standard operating procedures are followed
• Maintains cleanliness and organization of work area
• Successful forklift certification required
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience And Skills

• Must be 18 years or older
• Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) required
• Extensive knowledge of diesel tractor operations
• 1 year of work experience in any industry
• Basic computer and math skillsAble to read, write, comprehend, follow verbal and written instructions
• Willingness to learn new skills, problem-solve and troubleshoot
• Strong collaboration, communication skills, and is always respectful

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of warehousing work experience
• Forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 60 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
