Job summary

University of the Incarnate Word (UIW) is seeking a Shipping and Receiving Warehouse Clerk to manage inbound and outbound shipments, verify records, and prepare items for dispatch.

Reporting to the Fixed Asset Specialist, this full-time role runs Mon-Fri 8am-5pm with occasional extended hours, offering a $15.00 per hour wage and opportunities to operate pallet jacks or forklifts as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to work efficiently and multitask.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in recording and documenting shipments.
• Clear and effective communication with supplies, carriers and internal departments.
• Proficient in basic computer skills.
• Ability to effectively work individually and within a team environment.
• Ability to learn and safely use pallet jacks, and potentially a forklift.
• Good problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals from diverse communities and cultures.
• Adherence to University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
