C-P Flexible Packaging is hiring a Shipping/Receiving Clerk for the 1st shift (Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm) in the York, PA area. This role supports outbound/inbound shipments, carrier scheduling, and warehouse coordination in a friendly, low-turnover environment.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of shipping, receiving, and warehouse operations.
• Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, Outlook, ERP software.
• Ability to work accurately in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Good communications skills.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• Knowledge of warehousing and bar-coding systems is a plus.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Expedite material needed for shipment with the production plant as needed.
• Schedule outbound carrier pick-ups as needed.
• Serve as the warehouse point of contact for the Customer Support group.
• Schedule inbound carrier delivery appointments with use of Outlook calendar.
• Entry of raw material film receipts & label printing for inbounds via ASN notification & ‘direct’ delivery to the warehouse.
• Entry of stock movements relating to film released and moving from plant to plant.
• Maintains all Company equipment to ensure safe, efficient and trouble-free condition.
• Assists other employees in all buildings with the safe loading/unloading, movement and storage of raw, WIP and finished materials.
• Ability to operate dock handling equipment (stand-up lifts, sit-down lifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Ensures maintenance of vehicles, trailers and associated equipment is being performed and that all equipment is kept in safe operating condition.

Physical Demands

• Intermittent walking between warehouse & production facilities
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of times. (consistently)
• Must be able to move and lift up to 40 lbs. (intermittently)
• Must be willing to load/ unload material into and out of trailers/ trucks or other vehicles.
