Job summary

C-P Flexible Packaging is seeking a 1st shift Warehouse Associate in York, PA. You will handle shipping/receiving, coordinate outbound/inbound carrier pickups, and act as the warehouse liaison for Customer Support using Outlook and ERP systems.

The role supports a friendly, safe, and low-turnover environment with merit increases and comprehensive benefits. Lifting up to 40 lbs and dock equipment operation are required.

Qualifications

• General knowledge of shipping, receiving, & warehouse operations.
• Basic computer knowledge & skills – Word, Excel, Outlook email, ERP software
• Ability to work accurately in a fast paced, changing environment.
• Good communications skills.
• Must be able to work well under sometimes stressful work conditions.
• Prior forklift experience required.
• Knowledge of warehousing and bar-coding systems is a plus
• Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills is a plus

Responsibilities

• Expedite material needed for shipment with the production plant as needed.
• Schedule out-bound carrier pick-ups as needed.
• Serve as the warehouse point of contact for the Customer Support group
• Schedule in-bound carrier delivery appointments with use of Outlook calendar
• Entry of raw material film receipts & label printing for inbound via ASN notification & 'direct' delivery to the warehouse
• Entry of stock movements relating to film released and moving from plant to plant
• Maintains all Company equipment to ensure safe, efficient and trouble-free condition
• Assists other employees in all buildings with the safe loading/unloading, movement and storage of raw, WIP and finished materials.
• Ability to operate dock handling equipment (stand -up lifts, sit down lifts, pallet jacks, etc.)
• Ensures maintenance of vehicles, trailers and associated equipment is being performed and that all equipment is kept in safe operating condition.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Physical Demands:

• Intermittent walking between warehouse & production facilities
• Must be able to sit for extended periods of times. (consistently)
• Must be able to move and lift up to 40 lbs. (intermittently)
• Must be willing to load/ unload material into and out of trailers/ trucks or other vehicles.
