Eligible candidates have an Associate’s degree and at least one year of inventory or receiving experience in manufacturing. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, along with strong organizational and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree and at least 1 year experience in inventory management or receiving in a manufacturing environment.
• Attention to detail and good verbal, written and organizational skills are required.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer are required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and receives inbound purchased materials, records into inventory software, and maintains related records.
• Prepares reports and coordinates receiving activities with Accounts Payable.
• Leads unloading of raw materials via rail system and truck shipments.
• Labels incoming materials for inventory system.
• Performs cycle counts on material stored in warehouse.
• Opens and examines inbound containers and conducts pre-loading inspections of outbound containers.
• Supports the Warehouse Manager in coordinating shipping activities and assumes responsibilities in their absence.
• Coordinates sampling of raw material for Quality testing.
• Tags, rejects, and contacts Purchasing to return defective material.
• Informs Accounting of raw materials and finished goods inventories for accuracy.
• Maintains a safe working environment for themselves and others.
