Job summary

LockNet is seeking a reliable Warehouse Shipping & Material Mover to support our door and hardware solutions. This full-time, on-site role involves moving, packing, inspecting, and shipping freight in a busy warehouse.

Training is provided, including forklift certification and in-house product procedures. The ideal candidate has at least 6 months of warehouse experience, strong reading of measuring tools, and good computer skills; excellent communication helps with team coordination.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of experience in a similar warehouse or materials handling role.
• Forklift experience preferred but not required - we will certify the right candidate.
• Ability to read and use measuring tools.
• General computer skills preferred, including familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Excellent interpersonal and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Move freight, stock, and materials by hand or using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment.
• Operate a forklift to safely transport heavy and oversized inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Palletize door frames and assemble crates to prevent damage during shipping.
• Load and unload freight carrier shipments in accordance with safety standards.
• Inspect doors, hardware, and frame parts prior to shipment to ensure product quality.
• Pack, seal, and label containers to prepare materials for shipping.
• Examine shipment contents and compare against invoices or orders to verify accuracy.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

LockNet is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Warehouse Shipping & Material Mover to play a vital role in getting quality products to our commercial door and service customers on time. You'll work hands-on in our warehouse moving, packing, inspecting, and shipping freight - and we'll set you up for success with forklift certification and in-house training on our products and procedures.

This is a full-time, on-site position.

What You'll Do

• Moving freight, stock, and materials to and from storage, production areas, loading docks, and delivery vehicles by hand or using pallet jacks, forklifts, and other equipment
• Operating a forklift to safely transport heavy and oversized inventory throughout the warehouse
• Palletizing door frames and assembling windows, frame pallets, and crates to prevent damage during shipping
• Loading and unloading freight carrier shipments in accordance with safety standards
• Inspecting doors, hardware, and frame parts prior to shipment to ensure product quality
• Packing, sealing, and labeling containers to prepare materials for shipping
• Examining shipment contents and comparing against invoices or orders to verify accuracy
• Performing other job-related duties as assigned

What We're Looking For

This role is physically demanding. You should be comfortable with the following on a regular basis:

• Standing, walking, and reaching for extended periods
• Lifting and/or moving up to 75 pounds, including overhead
• Frequent use of hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, and controls
• Operating a forklift for movement of heavy and oblong inventory
• Use of close and distance vision with ability to adjust focus
