Job Type: Onsite


Salary Range: $70,000 - $85,000 DOE


ITAR/EAR: This position requires access to information controlled under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or the Export Administration Regulations (EAR). The successful candidate must be a "U.S. person" as defined in the ITAR and EAR (which generally means (i) be a citizen or national of the United States; (ii) be a lawful permanent resident of the United States; or (iii) have been admitted to the United States as a refugee, or have been granted asylum, as specified under applicable law).


Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for leading all warehouse employees and operations, including shipping, receiving, finished goods, inventory control (daily cycle counts), and stockroom activities, to ensure efficient material flow and on-time customer delivery. Oversee team performance, maintain inventory accuracy using ERP (Made2Manage) systems, and ensure compliance with safety standards. Drives process improvements, optimizes warehouse layout and workflows, and uses data and KPIs to enhance productivity and operational performance.


Key Responsibilities

Under minimal supervision, must be able to perform a variety of job duties including, but not limited to:



  • Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations across shipping, receiving, finished goods, and stockroom functions to ensure smooth and efficient material flow.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives by applying lean practices, optimizing workflows, and tracking key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Utilize ERP systems (Made2Manage) and reporting tools to monitor operations, maintain records, and support data‑driven decision‑making.

  • Enforce and promote quality, safety standards and regulatory compliance by conducting audits, ensuring proper equipment use, and maintaining a safe working environment.

  • Plan and allocate labor resources effectively to meet operational demands and productivity goals.

  • Other duties as needed or assigned.

  • Directly supervises non‑exempt employees.

  • Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws.

  • Provides leadership, communicating, and coaching to employees; cultivates a motivated employee environment of trust, teamwork, accountability, self‑confidence, and business ownership.

  • Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems; managing cross‑training matrix and plan.


Required Skills


  • Excellent written and verbal skills. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers.

  • Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

  • Manage and solve problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized and complex situations.

  • Calculate figures and amounts such as productivity, material margins, labor variances and overtime percentages.

  • Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and material flow within a manufacturing environment.

  • Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Suite for tracking, reporting, and data management.

  • Know how to apply complex use of databases/spreadsheets.

  • Complete planning of workflow and meetings.

  • Solid analytical skills and solution‑driven thinking. Use large amounts of data to make strategic decisions.

  • Apply continuous improvement and lean principles to enhance efficiency and productivity.

  • Experience with KPI tracking, performance metrics, and data analysis to support operational improvements.


Preferred Skills


  • Supply Chain Management certification.


Education Requirements


  • High School Degree or General Education Degree and five (5) to seven (7) years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • Associate (A.S.) or Bachelor (B.S.) degree in supply chain, business, or related field highly desired.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of warehouse, shipping, receiving and inventory experience, preferably in manufacturing.

  • Minimum of five (5) years of progressive supervisory or leadership experience.

  • Experience managing ERP systems (e.g., Made‑2‑Manage).

  • Minimum of two (2) years of stand‑up and sit‑down forklift experience.


Physical Requirements


  • Frequent use of hands for handling equipment, and operating forklifts and vehicles.

  • Perform similar operations and tasks for 6–8 hours.

  • Sit and stand for 6 to 8 hours.

  • Lift up to 25 lbs. frequently.

  • Lift, push and pull up to 50 lbs. occasionally.

  • Bend and reach for 6 to 8 hours.


Working Conditions


  • Work performed indoors in a temperature controlled environment frequently and outdoors with temperature variations occasionally.

  • Required use of PPE including safety glasses, gloves, and safety‑toed footwear.

  • While performing the duties of this job, will regularly be exposed to moving high‑speed machinery and mechanical parts; will occasionally be exposed to machine oils and hazardous materials.
