Job summary

Competitive Range Solutions, LLC is seeking a Warehouse Shipping Lead to coordinate outbound operations in a DoD environment. You will manage schedules, oversee staff, and ensure timely, compliant shipments while maintaining high quality.

Responsibilities include conducting daily/weekly planning, preparing shipping documents, and training team members. A Secret clearance and forklift certification are required within 30 days. Position is on-site in Ashburn, VA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; 5+ years in warehouse management/logistics
• Active Secret US Government Clearance required (US citizenship)
• Experience in DoD or government multi-contractor environments
• Strong leadership, scheduling, and safety compliance expertise

Responsibilities

• Create and maintain weekly shipping schedule and priorities.
• Oversee outbound shipping operations and allocate work orders.
• Coordinate material handlers and monitor supply orders.
• Prepare shipping documents, hazmat, and international shipments.
• Ensure smooth operations and uphold product quality during shipping.
• Generate weekly/monthly status and activity reports.
• Perform quality control for inbound/outbound shipments.
• Operate pallet jacks/forklifts; Raymond Lift certification within 30 days.
• Assist loading trucks and preparing shipments for pickup.
• Prepare BOL; verify routing, quantity, and destination.
• Schedule trucks for freight orders; ensure on-time pickup/delivery.
• Train staff on procedures and problem-solving.

Competitive Range Solutions requires the expertise of a talented and experienced Warehouse Shipping Lead to provide warehouse management support as a part of the Warehouse management and support teams. The candidate must reference their ability and experience in working in a Department of Defense (DoD) customer environment and effective integration with a government multi-contractor team.

Working under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager the candidate's responsibilities revolve around coordinating and overseeing outbound shipping Team operations and must be a fast starter with the ability to work independently in a team environment performing the following duties and responsibilities:

• Create and maintain weekly shipping schedule
• Prioritize daily shipping schedule, assign and oversee work order execution
• Coordinate material handlers, and monitor supply orders
• Prepare shipping documents, including those for hazardous materials and international shipments
• Ensure smooth shipping operations and maintaining high product quality
• Prepare and distribute weekly/monthly status and weekly activity reports
• Performing quality control functions for inbound and outbound shipments
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, (Raymond Lift certification required within first 30-days
• Assist in loading trucks, filling orders, and preparing shipments for pick up and delivery
• Prepare BOL, inspect order for correct routing, quantities, and destination
• Schedule trucks for freight orders and ensure on time pickup and delivery
• Train and assist employees on proper procedures and problem solve issues that arise

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelor’s or associate degree, and at least 5 years of warehouse management and logistics experience
• Or High school diploma/GED, and at least 7 years of logistics analysis experience
• Experience in the integrated logistics support field, including any of the following areas of warehouse management, logistics program planning and concept development; provisioning, supply support, and inventory control; logistics automated information systems and analysis tools; maintenance concepts and requirements analyses
• Must have an Active Secret US Government Clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Secret Clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

• Military Experience in a Supply Career Management Field
• Experience in supply, stockroom, warehouse, and inventory operation
• Demonstrated experienced or knowledge related to Network Infrastructure equipment
• Experience with packaging and handling of items prepared for storage and shipping
