Job summary

Safecor Health in Woburn, MA is seeking a Warehouse & Shipping Clerk to ensure accurate packaging, stock maintenance, and efficient order processing through shipping software.

You will post and pick orders, liaise with drivers, manage freight charges, and support the Inventory and Customer Service teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High School Degree/GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 100lbs with a pallet jack; physically lift up to 50lbs.
• Stand, stoop, and bend for extended periods.
• Priority warehouse experience preferred.
• Fork truck license desired.
• Effective communication and teamwork are essential.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Learns and adapts with the organization.
• Supports an inclusive environment with open feedback.

Responsibilities

• Post and pick completed orders.
• Ensure orders are packaged and handled correctly.
• Process orders through shipping software – UPS WorldShip or FedEx Manager.
• Make accurate and timely transactions in our ERP system (QAD).
• Monitor freight charges, enter charges, and mark orders as shipped.
• Stage processed orders for daily pickup.
• Interact with drivers.
• Keep storage area neat, clean, and free of debris.
• Backup to Inventory Department functions.
• Coordinate with Customer Service on daily priorities.
• Maintain proper stock of shipping supplies.

Salary Range: $22.00 - $22.00 Hourly

Role Overview

The role of the Warehouse & Shipping Clerk: Our warehouse & shipping clerk is responsible for an array of duties such as making sure orders are packaged and handled correctly, maintaining stock of shipping supplies, and processing orders through our shipping software.

What your day-to-day will look like

• Post and pick completed orders
• Assure orders are packaged and handled correctly
• Process orders through our shipping software – UPS WorldShip or FedEx Manager
• Make accurate and timely transactions in our ERP system (QAD)
• Monitor freight charges being imported, enter freight charges as needed, and mark orders as shipped
• Stage processed orders for daily pickup
• Interact with drivers
• Keep storage area neat, clean, and free of debris
• Act as a backup to the specific functions within the Inventory Department
• Interactive with Customer Service and monitor daily priorities
• Maintain proper stock of shipping supplies

Days/Hours

Monday- Friday, 9:00am-5:00pm
