Ryder is hiring a Warehouse Clerk in Whitestown, Indiana — offering weekly pay, excellent benefits, and a career you can feel good about.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly. Hourly Pay $20.50 per hour with a $1.50 per hour shift premium. Schedule: Mon-Fri 5:30 pm - 1:30 am. Duties include clerical/warehouse tasks and operating forklift equipment in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• 1+ year experience operating forklift equipment preferred.
• 1+ year experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Uses the location's WMS system to update area or shift metrics.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries.
• Performs floor work and other duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks and maintains filing systems.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.
