Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Hebron, KY is hiring a Warehouse Clerk to join our distribution operations. This role focuses on accurate clerical tasks, data entry, and supporting the warehouse team in a fast-paced environment.

You will work with forklift equipment, maintain safety practices, and contribute to timely, accurate reporting using our WMS. Weekly pay and comprehensive benefits accompany this position, with opportunities for training and advancement.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• At least 1 year clerical or warehouse experience preferred.
• At least 1 year forklift experience preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to build professional relationships across the organization.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Fast-paced environment; flexible and self-driven.
• Detail oriented with strong follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate activities with clerks, customers, and suppliers.
• Use WMS system to update area metrics.
• Generate daily, weekly or monthly reports and memos.
• Floor work and other duties as assigned.
• Perform basic administrative tasks and maintain filing.
• Gather and provide information to floor staff.
• Coordinate meetings/communications for the area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Warehouse Positions Pay Weekly

• Hourly Pay: $21.50 per hour
• Overtime Pay: $32.25 per hour
• Shift Pay: $2.00 per hour on 2nd shift
• Schedule: Monday - Friday 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• One (1) year or more clerical or warehouse experience preferred
• One (1) year or more experience operating forklift equipment preferred
• One (1) year or more Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, etc.) preferred
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrates customer service skills.
• Ability to create and maintain professional relationships within all levels of the organization (peers, work groups, customers, supervisors).
• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates activities with clerks from other floor areas, the customer and/or other suppliers as needed.
• Using the location's WMS system updates area or shift metrics as needed.
• Generates daily, weekly or monthly reports, memos, and summaries often of a technical and/or confidential nature.
• Floor work and additional duties as assigned.
• Performs basic administrative tasks for area or shift. Maintains filing systems and documents.
• Gathers from and provides information to floor employees in his/her area of support.
• Coordinates activities/meetings/communication for the specific area or shift.
• Performs other duties as assigned depending on area supported or if location specific.
