A leading company in the grocery distribution sector is seeking a support role in shipping to maintain inventory and assist with audits. This safety-sensitive position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to provide excellent customer service to our member retailers. Ideal candidates should have a degree or relevant experience, effective communication skills, and the capability to handle various operational tasks efficiently.
SUMMARY
Handle split duties consisting of maintaining inventory of equipment and data entry, as well as assisting in the selector audit position. The purpose of this role is to keep the selectors moving and to provide documentation for auditors to perform their audits. This is a safety-sensitive position.
Hourly rate: $ per hour, day shift, days per week: AM to finish.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ability to perform the following duties along with all other duties as requested by the Shipping department. It is the responsibility of each individual at AWG to provide excellent customer service to our members to support their efforts in increasing same-store sales and profits.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Degree or equivalent; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Effective speaking skills before groups of customers or employees.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to apply basic algebra and geometry concepts.
REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS: Valid Driver’s License.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Computer literacy; office procedures; good grammar, standard English usage, punctuation, and spelling.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: The physical demands are representative of those required to perform the essential functions of this job.
