Job summary

Simpson Strong-Tie in Theodore, AL is seeking an Associate Shipper/Receiver to manage shipping, receiving, and stocking finished goods to fulfill customer orders. You will operate ERP systems, pull, package, and palletize products, and prepare shipping documents.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and timely handling in a fast-paced warehouse. Qualifications include a High School Diploma or GED, forklift certification (to be obtained at hire), HazMat training, and 0-3 months of warehouse

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Powered Industrial Truck Certification required (will certify at hire).
• D.O.T. HazMat Training required (will certify at hire).
• 0-3 months of warehouse, logistics, and/or shipping experience required.

Responsibilities

• Process shipments using ERP system and/or tablet; pull, package, and palletize products.
• Create and apply documents, such as shipping labels, packing list, and bills of lading.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Other duties as assigned.
