Job summary

Atkore is hiring a Warehouse Shipper/Receiver for a Monday–Friday shift (10:00 am–7:30 pm) in Weatherford, TX. The role involves loading/unloading, packaging, and preparing shipments. You’ll operate forklifts, maintain records, and ensure accuracy of orders and shipping documents.

Requirements include a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 years forklift experience, basic math, and strong organizational skills. English proficiency and the ability to lift 50 lbs are essential; overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school Diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years of forklift operator experience; certification preferred.
• Ability to perform basic math including measurements.
• Strong organization and time-management skills.
• Must speak/read/write/understand English.
• Physically able to lift 50 lbs daily and use hand-tools.

Responsibilities

• Unload and load trucks.
• Package and unpack products; prepare shipments.
• Operate forklift, hand truck, and other equipment.
• Assemble containers, crates, and packing; prepare shipping documents.
• Review orders and plan loading layout.
• Oversee loading/unloading; plan daily shipments.
• Inspect incoming goods against invoices; record shortages/damages.
• Prepare bills of lading and shipping documents.
• Maintain internal record-keeping."
• Call customers to arrange delivery.
• Monthly inventory counts of conduit pipe.
• Re-bundle damaged conduit.
• Follow safety policies including LOTO and PPE.
• Adhere to Atkore policies and safety rules.
