Job summary

Roadtex Transportation seeks a capable Warehouse Supervisor to lead and develop the dock and yard team. You will train staff, schedule shifts, monitor performance, and coordinate with Linehaul and dispatch to ensure on-time, damage-free freight movement.

Qualifications

• 3+ years leading a logistics team or equivalent experience.
• Associates Degree or similar discipline preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to meet deadlines.
• Proficient with data entry and inventory software and systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop company employees.
• Provide training and monitor employees' performance; be accessible to all dock areas.
• Coach/counsel employees on performance and development and document material.
• Plan daily manpower to ensure timely, damage-free freight delivery and pickup.
• Coordinate movement of trailers and freight with Linehaul/dispatch and dock staff.
• Monitor safety programs and ensure OSHA compliance; promote a safety culture.
