Job summary

Freight Breakers LLC is seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee loading and unloading operations in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role reports to onsite leadership and emphasizes safety, productivity, and accurate freight handling.

The ideal candidate has prior supervisory experience in warehouse settings, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to train and develop team members while maintaining a high standard of safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Warehouse Supervisor, Lead, or Manager preferred.
• Background in loading, unloading, freight handling, or distribution operations.
• Experience with conveyor systems and handheld scanners is a plus.
• Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Supervise warehouse associates during loading and unloading operations.
• Lead crews handling freight, cartons, and boxed merchandise.
• Monitor conveyor systems to ensure efficient and safe freight movement.
• Ensure freight is accurately scanned and tracked throughout the operation.
• Assign daily tasks and manage labor to achieve production goals.
• Enforce company policies and maintain a strong safety culture.
• Train, mentor, and develop warehouse team members.
• Monitor productivity, attendance, and overall operational performance.
• Communicate daily expectations and performance objectives.
• Identify opportunities to improve workflow and operational efficiency.
• Maintain professional communication with facility leadership and management.
