Job summary

48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Shift Lead in Salt Lake City to supervise a team on the 2nd shift, cooperating with the on-site manager to maximize efficiency while upholding safety standards.

The position offers $20.00 per hour with a Monday–Friday 1:00 PM–9:00 PM schedule and benefits including paid time off, health/dental/vision insurance, and a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.

Responsibilities

• Set shift/operating schedules with On-Site Manager to best serve the customer.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Enforce Safety and HR policies.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms in a timely, legible manner.
• Help manage employee relations with the OSM.
• Load/unload materials and verify security of loads.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 1:00PM-9:00PM

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM

• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

What You'll Need

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation
• Forklift certification

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
