Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Shift Lead to maximize team productivity while upholding safety standards at our Sacramento site. The role reports to the On-Site Manager and includes duties from scheduling to training and safety compliance.

The position requires 1 year of supervisor/lead experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification. Competitive benefits are offered to qualifying full-time employees.

Responsibilities

• Set shift schedules with On-Site Manager to best service customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure Safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility.
• Check to make sure loads are secure.
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all industrial power equipment are performed.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

As a Shift Lead, you'll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

Tuesday-Saturday 5:00 AM - 1:30pm

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
