Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead to support a 2nd shift in Salt Lake City, focusing on safety and productivity. You will supervise a team, coordinate with the On-Site Manager on shift schedules, and participate in hiring and development efforts.

This role requires forklift certification, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and prior supervisor experience. We offer comprehensive benefits and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Work with the On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s).
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements in a timely and legible manner on the proper forms.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to staging area within the facility.
• Check to make sure loads are secure.
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Overview

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 1:00PM-9:00PM

What You'll Do

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate
• Repetitively adjust body position to bend, stoop, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for entire shifts of varying lengths
• Forklift operators are required to sit for long periods of time
• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
