Job summary

Relogistics is hiring a Shift Lead on 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 1:00PM-9:00PM) at 990 N. 6550 W, Salt Lake City, UT 84116. You will work with the On-Site Manager to schedule shifts, recruit and develop staff, and ensure safety, HR, and quality standards are met while maintaining a productive team environment.

Pay is $20.00 per hour with benefits and opportunities for career advancement. A valid driver’s license and forklift certification are required, and a strong commitment to safe operations is

Qualifications

• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license, reliable transportation.
• Forklift certification.

Responsibilities

• Set shift/operating schedules with the On-Site Manager to best service local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms in a timely/legible manner.
• Assist in managing employee relations issues with the OSM.
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to staging areas.
• Check that loads are secure and daily equipment checks are performed.
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments accurately, timely and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay:

$20.00/hr.

Shift(s):

2nd Shift: Monday-Friday 1:00PM-9:00PM

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)


• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.


• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed


• Order and maintain suppliesand arrange for office equipment maintenance


• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed


• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location


• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)


• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision


• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
