Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead in Irvington, AL. You will oversee a team of workers, supervise shift schedules, and ensure safety and HR policies are followed while maintaining productivity.

Responsibilities

• Work with On-Site Manager to set shift/operating schedules
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees

• Assist with forklift duties as needed
• Track movements on proper forms
• Load/unload materials and move to staging area
• Ensure loads are secure
• Perform daily equipment checks on power equipment
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments accurately, timely and safely
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

As a Shift Lead, you’ll help ensure your team of co-writers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highestsafety standards.

Hourly Pay

$22.00/hr.

Thursday - Sunday 800 AM - 430 PM

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• 1 year of Supervisor or Lead experience preferred
• High School diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• The noise level in the work environment is dependent on location
• Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required (eye protection, ear protection is mandatory at several locations, safety shoes)
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include, close vision, distance vision and color vision
• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
