48forty Solutions, LLC is seeking a Shift Lead for the 2nd shift in Hagerstown, MD. You will help supervise a team to maximize productivity while upholding top safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist with shift scheduling with On-Site Manager.
• Support recruiting and developing employees.

• Assist forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements and document accurately.
• Support employee relations locally with OS Manager.
• Load/unload materials and stage for handling.
• Ensure loads are secured and equipment checks are performed.
• Verify product quality against standards.
• Perform basic data entry and reporting.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Overview

As a Shift Lead , you'll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

Hourly Pay: $20.00/hr

Shift(s): 2nd Shift: Sunday - Wednesday 6:00pm - 4:30am

Location: Hagerstown, MD 21740

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
