Job summary

Relogistics is seeking a Shift Lead for the 3rd shift (Saturday–Monday, 6:00pm–6:00am) in Stuarts Draft, VA. You will supervise and develop team members, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate schedules with the On-Site Manager to serve local customers.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisor experience, a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and forklift certification. Competitive benefits and veteran crew environment offered.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with On-Site Manager to set shift schedules for local customers.
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure safety and HR policies are followed.
• Order and maintain supplies; arrange for equipment maintenance.
• Assist with forklift duties as needed.
• Track movements on proper forms.
• Assist with employee relations locally with the OSM.
• Load/unload materials and move to the appropriate staging area; ensure loads are secure.
• Perform daily equipment checks on Industrial power equipment.
• Inspect products for conformance to quality standards.
• Perform basic financial data entry.
• Execute assignments accurately, timely and safely.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Overview

As a Shift Lead , you'll help ensure your team of co-workers are maximizing their overall productivity during each shift, while adhering to the highest safety standards.

What You'll Do

• Work with the On-Site Manager as he/she to sets shift/operating schedules to best service the local customer(s)
• Assist with recruiting and developing employees.
• Ensure company policies regarding Safety and HR are followed
• Order and maintain supplies and arrange for office equipment maintenance
• Assist with forklift driver duties as needed
• Track movements in a timely/legible manner on the proper forms
• Assist in managing employee relations issues, locally, in conjunction with the OSM
• Load and unload materials from trailers and move to the appropriate staging area within the facility
• Check to make sure loads are secure
• Ensure that all daily equipment checks on all Industrial power equipment are being performed
• Examine products to verify conformance to quality standard
• Perform basic financial data entry
• Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment

• Ability to work in extreme conditions to include, but not limited to, elements, heat, cold, and air particulate

• May be required to lift pallets by hand, each weighing between 50 lbs. to 75 lbs.
