Job summary

NFI Industries is seeking a Warehouse Selector to accurately pick, stage, ship and receive products in a fast-paced distribution environment. The role supports efficient warehouse operations while maintaining accuracy, productivity, and strict safety practices.

Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, performing pre-operation inspections, loading/unloading freight, stocking designated areas, and completing shipment confirmations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Preferred 6 months of electric pallet jack operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Must be able to get NFI certified on electric pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently, following established work practices and safety procedures.
• Possesses basic understanding of equipment safety and adheres to all safety protocols.
• Completes and documents required pre-operation inspection forms for equipment.
• Loads and unloads freight in an efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
• Moves product to designated storage areas using appropriate material handling equipment; stacks and stores merchandise in assigned locations.
• Picks customers orders, assembling various types of merchandise for shipment.
• Processes orders including picking, checking, sorting, consolidating freight, wrapping pallets, packing, loading, and completing shipment confirmations
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation
• Assists with physical inventories and cycle counts as needed
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area at all times
• Performs sanitation duties as assigned
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required by the role and determined by management
