Job summary

NFI in Tampa, FL is seeking a Warehouse Selector to accurately select, stage, ship, and receive product in line with company standards. You will support efficient warehouse operations, maintain accuracy, meet productivity targets, and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities include operating material handling equipment, picking customer orders, packing, loading, performing pre-operation inspections, inventory checks, and keeping a clean, safe work area.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• 6 months of electric pallet jack operation experience and/or experience using warehouse distribution equipment preferred.
• Must be able to get NFI certified on electric pallet jack.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
• Effective customer service skills and basic math competencies.

Responsibilities

• Operates all material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
• Performs pre-operation inspections for equipment.
• Loads and unloads freight safely and efficiently.
• Picks customer orders and assembles merchandise for shipment.
• Processes orders including picking, packing, loading, and shipment confirmations.
• Verifies freight accuracy and checks for damage or infestation.
• Assists with inventory and cycle counts.
• Maintains a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Performs sanitation duties and other duties as required.
