Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) near Boston seeks a Warehouse Associate (Selector) to move, pick, and ship orders in a multi-temperature environment. You’ll use RF scanners and VoCollect headset to ensure accuracy, safety, and efficiency across receiving, staging, and shipping tasks.

Responsibilities include operating equipment, validating shipments, and maintaining clean work areas. This full-time on-site role offers weekly pay and benefits after 30 days.

Qualifications

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.
• Valid forklift certification and 1+ years of safe equipment operation.
• Strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required).
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards.
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory.
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols.
• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately.
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products.
