Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution is seeking a Warehouse Associate (Selector) in Boston to move, pick, and ship products in a multi-temperature facility. You will operate pallet jacks and forklifts (certified), use RF scanners and VoCollect headset, and support accurate order fulfillment in a fast-paced environment.

Be part of a team focused on safety, accuracy, and timely delivery, with weekly pay and benefits after a 30-day window. Full-time, on-site role in a temperature-controlled warehouse.

Qualifications

• Temperature-controlled warehouse experience preferred.

Warehouse Associate (Selector) – Boston

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast-paced, multi-temperature environment, focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Role You’ll

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (certification required for forklift)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Selector (Picker) Specific

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You’ll Bring

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
• valid forklift certification and 1+years of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading/math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice-directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting

• Full-time, on-site in a temperature-controlled warehouse (dry, cooler freezer: -5 °F to 38 °F)
• Primarily a 5-day work week, with shifts typically starting at 5:00am-1:30pm
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods
