Job summary

Perishable Distributors of Iowa is seeking a Warehouse Selector – Level I to efficiently pick, verify, and palletize customer orders for transport. You will operate pallet jacks and use the VAU headset to confirm selections and quantities, ensuring accuracy and safety on the warehouse floor.

Ideal candidates are 18+, have a High School diploma or equivalent, and can meet productivity standards while adhering to sanitation and safety rules in a refrigerated/dry warehouse environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ to operate warehouse equipment.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• High school or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reports to work on schedule and adheres to attendance guidelines.
• Operates stand-up rider pallet jack and VAU headset to pick correct items and quantities.
• Builds pallets accurately and applies stretch wrap for transport.
• Maintains productivity and quality per Standards Program.
• Observes sanitation and reports spillage or distressed product to a supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned by management.
