Perishable Distributors of Iowa, LTD. is seeking a full-time Warehouse Generalist for 2nd and 3rd shifts. You will manage product flow from receiving to shipping, using standard warehousing practices and RF technology.

The role demands physical endurance and adherence to safety policies, with opportunities to operate forklifts and voice-directed systems. Responsibilities include accurate pallet building, temperature monitoring, and ensuring product integrity for on-time delivery.

Qualifications

• Forklift and pallet jack license required.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• General knowledge of standard warehousing procedures; RF loading, receiving, stock rotation and replenishment.
• This position is considered semi-skilled.
• Heavy lifting is required; frequent to constant standing, lifting, and related activities.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming loads and unload trucks, tag with slot code, and deliver to correct destination.
• Verify product received with supplier invoice and complete receiving paperwork.
• Inspect temperature of incoming product and follow storage guidelines.
• Operate forklift and RF unit for stock rotation and replenishment.
• Select and assemble products for shipment using VAU and confirm with headset.
• Build pallets, stretch wrap, label, and stage products for loading.
• Load staged product into trailers and coordinate with dispatch on load configurations.
