Job summary

McLane Company, Inc. in Taylorville, IL is seeking a Warehouse Selector to pick product, load trucks, and move items between the dock and the warehouse. You’ll operate a reach truck and pallet jack while maintaining accuracy in inventory and documentation.

This full-time position requires attention to safety, teamwork, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Experience in distribution is preferred but not required, and training is provided to ensure efficient, accurate order fulfillment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to lift 50+ pounds.
• At least 1 year of distribution warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Must be able to read, write and understand English for safety and instruction.

Responsibilities

• Select product and load trucks; move product between dock and warehouse.
• Operate reach truck and pallet jack to pick, pull, sort, and stack.
• Shrink-wrap and label outgoing orders; verify quantity and condition.
• Review documents and record information; maintain safe, clean work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
