Position Overview

As a Warehouse Selector, you’ll pick, gather, and organize products to prepare orders for delivery to local customers. • Earn $19.00 per hour + $4.00 freezer premium = $23.00 with additional earning potential after training! Selectors earn $26.00 per hour on average.
• 1st shift: 6:00am - until work is finished
• 2nd shift: 7:00pm - until work is finished
• Shift length: 10-12 hours
• Work week: 4 to 5 days (Sunday required)
• Location: 53 Summit Lock Rd, Westfield, MA

Your responsibilities include:

• Picking various items using order sheets or an audio headset
• Stacking items on pallets for wrapping and loading at the bay doors
• Ensuring order accuracy while adhering to safety standards
• Operating double walkie-rider or electric pallet jack to remove cases from storage and place on pallets, applying selection labels as needed
• Using proper wrapping techniques to ensure product safety and prevent damages
• Informing supervisors of discrepancies in case quantity or description
• Performing equipment inspections and completing relevant forms
• Frequent safe lifting of varying case weights and sizes
• Following all safety procedures for material handling equipment

Physical activity involved:

• Standing, bending, pulling, lifting, pivoting up to 90% of shift
• Walking 6-12 miles daily on various surfaces
• Lifting products weighing between 1-60 lbs or more
• Handling objects from floor to overhead, possibly on multiple levels
• Handling sharp objects safely, including cutting tools
