Job summary

Meijer is seeking motivated Team Members for our perishable building in Pleasant Prairie, WI. You will help ensure order accuracy and inventory control while coordinating with drivers and unloaders for Fresh and Frozen products.

The role emphasizes quality, temperature standards, sanitation, and a strong safety mindset. Prior warehouse experience and solid communication skills are beneficial, with opportunities for growth within a family-oriented retailer.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Intermediate computer / technology skills.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience is helpful.
• Good listening and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
