Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Michigan to ensure product integrity from receiving to shipping. You will manage orders, move products with pallet jacks and a stand-up forklift, and handle heavy lifting while maintaining quality and sanitation.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Operate motorized pallet jacks and stand-up hi-lo to move product.
• Continuously palletize cases weighing up to 75 lbs.
• Maintain quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follow inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Keep building sanitation standards consistently.
• Adhere to safety accountability and other duties as assigned.

Responsible for complete product integrity during its stay at the distribution center, from the receiving process, through movement and storage within the warehouse, to final store shipment. Ensures that all all products appropriately handled, using knowledge of quality and temperature standards.

Multiple Shifts Open

• 5am-3:30pm
• 1pm-9:30pm
• 3:15pm-1:45am

What You'll be Doing

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Use heavy industrial equipment including motorized pallet jacks and stand up hi-lo to transport product
• Continuously select and palletize cases of product weighing up to 75 lbs over the entirety of the shift
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.
