Job summary

Meijer is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Michigan to help maintain order and inventory accuracy in our distribution operation. You will collaborate with drivers and unloaders to receive, store, and ship Fresh and Frozen items while ensuring quality and sanitation throughout the process.

This role requires dependable attendance, solid communication, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. Warehouse experience is helpful; Meijer offers weekly pay and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Intermediate computer/technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Prior warehouse experience is helpful.
• Dependable attendance and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensures order and inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders during receiving and shipping for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Maintains quality and temperature standards during transfer and storage.
• Follows inventory control practices to meet Meijer standards.
• Completes receiving, order, and shipping processes accurately.
• Ensures sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You'll be Doing:

• Ensures order & inventory accuracy via established processes.
• Works with truck drivers and unloaders while performing receiving and shipping processes for Fresh and Frozen foods.
• Ensures quality and temperature standards for all products are maintained during a safe transfer and storage process.
• Follows established inventory control practices to ensure all Meijer standards are met.
• Accurately completes receiving-order-shipping processes.
• Ensures building sanitation standards are consistently maintained.
• Practices 200% safety accountability.
• Other duties as assigned.

What You Bring with You (Qualifications):

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent
• Intermediate computer / technology skills.
• Proven ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced work environment.
