Job summary

Vistar, a leading snack and beverage distributor, seeks a warehouse associate in Livermore, CA. You will select cases from multi-level racks, prepare orders for shipment, and operate a motorized pallet jack in a fast-paced environment. Safety and accuracy are essential to ensure timely, quality order fulfillment.

Full-time position with a Sunday-Thursday schedule and shift differentials. Candidates must pass drug screening and background check; prior pallet jack experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work the scheduled times and required overtime.
• Able to stand, walk, reach and lift repeatedly throughout shift.
• Able to lift 10-35 pounds and generally up to 60-90 pounds depending on location.
• Able to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).
• Pass post offer drug test and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Select cases and other containers of food and non-foods to fill customer orders from multi-level rack warehouse storage systems.
• Move completed orders to the loading dock staging area using an electric pallet jack / forklift.
• Wrap, label and readied for shipment observing all safety regulations and quality standards.
• Maintain efficient flow of product through the production process and meet productivity/accuracy standards.
• Perform duties as assigned to best serve the company.
