Job summary

Quality Custom Distribution Services LLC (QCD) is hiring a Warehouse Associate (Selector) in Boston to join a fast-paced, multi-temperature warehouse team. You’ll help move, pick, and prepare orders with accuracy, using RF scanners and VoCollect voice-directed picking systems.

Responsibilities include loading, cycle counts, and maintaining inventory integrity while following safety protocols. Shifts start early, and benefits follow after introductory period.

Qualifications

• Forklift certification required.
• 1+ years of safe equipment operation.
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred.
• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments.

Warehouse Associate (Selector) – Boston

What You’ll Do

You’ll be a key player in our warehouse team, helping to move, manage, and deliver products efficiently and safely. Whether you’re loading trailers, picking orders, or leading associates, you’ll work in a fast‑paced, multi‑temperature environment focused on accuracy, teamwork, and safety. Your efforts keep our supply chain flowing smoothly — from receiving goods, staging inventory, to shipping orders out on time.

In This Role You’ll:

• Safely operate material handling equipment: pallet jacks and forklifts (forklift certification required)
• Inspect incoming/outgoing shipments and verify accuracy of orders and product quality
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company standards
• Use warehouse technology (RF scanners, inventory systems) to track orders and inventory
• Follow all QIP and sanitation policies and safety protocols

Selector (Picker) Specific

• Use handheld scanners to pick and pack customer orders accurately
• Conduct cycle counts and spot checks to maintain inventory accuracy
• Follow FEFO (First Expired, First Out) procedures for food products

What You’ll Bring

• Comfort working in varying temperatures including freezer and cooler environments
• Strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and commitment to safety
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment issues
• Experience with warehouse management systems and handheld scanners preferred
• Valid forklift certification and 1+ years of safe equipment operation
• Strong reading and math skills for labeling, counting, and documentation
• Use a voice‑directed picking system (VoCollect headset) to accurately select and prepare customer orders

Schedule & Setting

• Full‑time, on‑site in a temperature‑controlled warehouse (dry, cooler, freezer: -5°F to 38°F)
• Primarily a 5‑day work week, with shifts typically starting at 5:00 am – 1:30 pm
• Physically active role with repetitive lifting up to 50 lbs and standing/walking for extended periods

Pay & Benefits

• $24.00 /hr
